Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does the price include airfare?
No. You must make arrangements to take care of that.
  • How do we get to the hotel from the airport?
There are a few ways: you can rent your own car, or take a cab, Uber, or Lyft. J&C is in the early stages of acquiring a vehicle to assist our guests to and from the airport, however, this option is not currently available.
  • Can we choose who we share rooms with?
Yes, of course. Most guests come with family or friends so everything fits. The single traveler always has the option to have a room to themselves or to share a room with someone else. If someone likes to read at night or prefers excessive silence, they may consider staying in a room to themselves. The benefits of sharing rooms is a considerable price reduction. The single traveler should weigh the benefits.
  • What if I don’t like particular habits of the person I share a room with? Ex: must sleep with TV on, snores loudly, etc."
We book an extra room, just in case this happens. It turns out, many people who snore loudly don’t even know it. There may be competition for the vacant room, so it’s really like getting a second roll of the dice.
  • Can we stay at an AirBnB instead of the hotel?
Yes. You will need to take care of those accommodations on your own. It may save money if your group is big enough; it may not. We get a discount on hotel rooms because of the amount of guests we bring into the hotels. We pass 100% of the savings back to you. Please ask the AirBnB representatives what day trash pick-up is and if they are aware of when the gardeners come for their house and surrounding homes. Also, keep in mind that we will have a couple morning guest speakers. You will have to provide your own transportation to the hotel if you are interested in making the presentation. If you want to skip the morning guest speaker, you can arrive after or meet up at the stadium; it’s up to you. Please be reminded that the hotel also provides breakfast and dinner if that’s any consideration in your decision.
  • Can I attend the tour if I am a local resident?
Yes. In fact, it’s encouraged! You would still need to provide transportation to the hotel to see the presentations. The cost is much less because the hotel is by far the biggest cost of the tour.
  • How much walking and/or physical demand is predicted on the tour?
Although we encourage everyone to get a little exercise each day as a general habit to maintain good health, we try to make things as easy and relaxing as possible on tour. Our transportation will bring guests right up to the stadium entrances. Walking to and from the seats is about the most strenuous activity we expect to see. There will be an evening where the group walks to dinner from the hotel. Guest often enjoy the early evening stroll to and from the restaurant, but we are aware some guests may have have an aversion to walking. Transportation is provided in the event anyone doesn't want to walk, for whatever reason.
  • What if there is a rain-out or it rains the entire time?
Good question. We can only refund the prices of the tickets to the game. We are charged for the hotels and we pay the entirety in advance. The presentations and other events will still take place. As an act of good faith, if inclement weather cancels the games, we will always offer a generous discount for the next tour.
  • Can I take the tour if I haven’t signed the release of liability and medical forms?
No. We cherish each guest and take precautions to make sure we have an immediate and adequate response in case of emergency. We are not willing to take the risk of assuming responsibility for others, and insist on each person safeguarding themselves. We, of course, would accept responsibility if something happens that was of our own carelessness; ex: a small accident with the transportation van (our tour guide was a professional hospitality driver for a royal family for 22 years.) However, if a guest decides they want to jump off the roof of the hotel into the pool and miscalculates, we in no way can be responsible for those questionable decisions.
  • What if I need to cancel at the last minute?
Life is life. Emergencies can happen. We do have a responsibility to fulfill our obligation to the hotels, so our cancellation policy must remain intact. Without an enforceable cancellation policy, our business wouldn’t survive. If we can replace you with another guest at the last minute, then we would happily return your payment minus deposit. Please see our cancellation policy We are reasonable people, and will take each situation on a case by case basis.
